Little Anthony & The Loco-Motives

If you were to think of any number of blues legends, chances are that Rhode Island's Little Anthony Geraci has played with them. Big Mama Thornton, Big Joe Turner, Muddy Waters, B.B. King, Chuck Berry, Bo Diddley and countless others have known the pleasure of Anthony's fiery keyboard backing them up.

Anthony spent 14 years holding down the piano chair in Sugar Ray and The Bluetones. During that time he and the Bluetones toured constantly throughout the northeast and completed several national and international tours as well. Anthony also had the opportunity to perform on many releases from the Rounder and Black Top labels. Anthony was a charter member of Ronnie Earl and The Broadcasters and played on their first two releases. In more recent times, Anthony has assembled a mighty powerful blues and R&B train known as Little Anthony and The Loco-Motives.

Fronted by Anthony and the big voice of gospel singer Karl Kelly, The Loco-Motives feature the stellar guitar work of young Anne Hamel and boast not only one of the tightest rhythm sections on the planet but an overwhelming horn section as well. The band is currently celebrating their brand new (second) Deluge release - Don't Wait On Me. Coming on the heals of the band's critically acclaimed debut, Can't Take It, Don't Wait On Me promises to catapult the band into a new dimension. Again, be forewarned, watch out for Loco-Motives - their brand of blues just might knock you senseless...
